- State-of-the-art technology, including 47 Internet-equipped computers, a video conferencing room, and wireless network transmission
- A large meeting space, program and exhibit spaces, and a children's theater
- Much-needed additional parking for library users and others enjoying the park and other nearby community amenities
- Two and one-half acres of green space added to West Hollywood Park
- An open-air court linking the library, the park and San Vicente Boulevard

A coffee bar on San Vicente Boulevard facing the Pacific Design Center. Café tables along the tree-lined sidewalk will welcome residents, neighbors from local businesses and library patrons, establishing a new public gathering space in the community.
