LibraryPark: About Us
Our Mission
The West Hollywood Library Fund seeks to improve the quality of life and opportunities for our community’s diverse residents by enhancing their access to information, education programs, technology and each other. Our goal is to raise funds for the construction, programs, collections and aligned community needs of the West Hollywood Library, a civic and cultural landmark.

A Place for Learning, Community and Culture
West Hollywood is on the verge of opening the door to a new era. The expanded and improved park, modern library facility with cultural and civic space, and additional community parking will ensure that the needs of our residents are met. Together, we will create a place like no other.
LibraryPark will open in Fall 2011 and provide:
- 2.5 acres of green space added to West Hollywood Park, with park benches, gardens, walkways and trees
- Rooftop tennis courts above the parking garage that will help reduce the building's carbon footprint
- An open-air court linking the library, the park and San Vicente Boulevard
- Over 32,000 square feet of flexible library space-six times larger then the existing library
- State-of-the-art technology, including 47 Internet-equipped computers, a video conferencing room, and wireless network transmission
- A large meeting space, program and exhibit spaces, and a children's theater
- Parking for library users and others who want to enjoy the park and visit the nearby commercial district
